Our 2023 Impact Evaluation

We’re fortunate enough to partner with Monash University and have students from their Master of Dietetics Program conduct our Impact Evaluation as part of their public health placement. This year we had three legendary students named Anthony, Carley and Mehak who helped out across all our markets for ten weeks between September and October. If you visited any of our markets during this time you will have either been greeted by one of them, served by one of them, or seen them busily helping out in other ways around the market.

We’re incredibly grateful to these students for conducting our Impact Evaluation. This involves completing customer surveys and cost comparisons of local fresh food outlets as well as trawling through a whole heap of sales data. If you visited one of our markets in October you may have even participated in this survey yourself! The valuable data gathered from this impact evaluation allows us to identify our markets’ successes, as well as areas for improvement. So we’re incredibly thankful to the students who assist us with conducting customer feedback surveys, and to our customers who take the time to complete it!

We’re really proud of what we were able to achieve as an organisation this year, and we could not have done this without the help of our wonderful partners and the massive 1,200 of volunteer hours put in by over 30 different and incredible volunteers and placement students
