Our Produce
TCG values high-quality, fresh, Australian grown produce and eggs. Most of our fruit and vegetables come from the Melbourne Wholesale Market fresh on the morning of the market.
Since 2024, we have been on a mission to shift our supply chain to be more sustainable and resilient. It is important to us at that our community is able to access local, sustainably grown produce but usually this produce comes with a price tag that is up to 170% more expensive than conventionally grown produce.
We have been working with values-aligned local farms and farmers to access and purchase sustainably grown produce. We work really hard to ensure that we can sell this produce at our markets at an affordable price, in line with our conventionally grown produce.
We’d like to thank the following farms for supplying our markets with some incredibly fresh, nutrient-dense and high quality produce.

Burd Eggs is a family-run farm with a story rooted in tradition, passion, and a deep commitment to the land. From the beginning, their approach has centred on chook-focused care and regenerative farming, ensuring their hens live as nature intended-roaming freely on lush pastures and playing a key role in building healthy soils. Zac, David and their team rotate their flocks across the farm, letting the chickens naturally fertilise the land and help control pests, which means no reliance on synthetic chemicals.

With a focus on community, transparency, and good old-fashioned hard work, Gabby continues to grow her business one clove at a time, spreading the joy of real garlic to kitchens across Victoria.
