Celebrating 10 years
On November 16th we celebrated 10 Years of The Community Grocer Markets.
The celebration was at Djerring Flemington Hub. We had a good time catching up with people that we have connected with over the last 10 years. It was great to meet community members interested in learning about what we do.
This event was catered by micro enterprises that attend our markets. We were pleased to share some of the talents and flavours of the market community with people who attended.
There was watercolour artwork for sale illustrated by market artist Pol the Painter. All artwork sale proceeds went to Pol.
We look forward to the next 10 years working with communities in Melbourne to provide affordable fresh food markets to support health and connected communities.
