Improving food security is vital because when communities have access to affordable, culturally relevant, and nutritious food, it directly supports physical and mental health and strengthens local social ties. As a key update, we're proud to have celebrated our 10-year anniversary, growing from one market in Carlton to operating six vibrant markets across Greater Melbourne, reaching more people experiencing food insecurity than ever before.

A fantastic success story from the report is the profound impact of our Grocer Gift Card program. Eighty-five percent (85%) of Grocer Gift recipients surveyed who accessed other forms of food relief preferred using a Grocer Gift Card, highlighting its success as a dignified, choice-based alternative to traditional emergency food relief.
